Perform on the Tramway stage as part of Culture 2014

Glory

Glory is a large-scale dance event happening at Tramway in March 2014.

People connected to Glasgow’s Commonwealth community will come together to create this performance event as part of the Glasgow 2014 Cultural programme.

People living in and around Glasgow who have a connection to a Commonwealth country are invited to create and perform in Glory. You don’t need any prior performance experience, or special skill to take part, and people of all ages and abilities, from all walks of life are welcome to apply.

Experienced director and choreographer Janice Parker will work with you to develop your individual movement and develop and shape this into a brand new choreography.

The performance will take place within a specially designed art installation by artist Richard Layzell, inspired by the idea of ‘living under one roof’.

The performance, which takes place in Tramway, will also include live video by filmmaker Martin Clark and a new musical score created by musician and composer MJ McCarthy.
