Aye Write, Glasgow’s Book Festival, is back once again with a fabulous programme of fiction, politics, poetry, crime, thrillers, memoir, history, music and more.

The festival will celebrate the best in national, international and local writing with a stellar line up including: Maggie O’ Farrell, Val McDermid, Joanna Trollope, Bake-Off judge Prue Leith, Strictly Come Dancing’s Anton Du Beke, Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge, actor and singer John Partridge, actor and comedian Greg McHugh.

A particular highlight will be a free celebration of the life and work of artist and author Alasdair Gray.

Some of the most pressing issues in society today will be discussed, including: politics, weight-loss, Windrush, social media, feminism, the future of work, living sustainably and the climate emergency.

Wee Write Family Day will attract wee bookworms on Saturday 7 March, 2020.
