South Side Film Festival Glasgow’s Southside Film Festival is a volunteer run festival; launched in 2011 to address the fact that Glasgow’s Southside does not have a cinema, or any regular film events. With the help of volunteers, the support of filmmakers and of local venues, the film festival has shown films at various venues throughout the Southside.
