Connecting People and Plants Through Inspiration and Education

For two hundred years Glasgow Botanic Gardens has provided local people and visitors to the city with a beautiful leisure facility plus a valuable scientific and educational resource. In 2017 the bicentenary of the Botanics will be celebrated with a series of fantastic events running throughout the year.

These will include: Bicentenary Exhibition in The Kibble Palace, from April, Larger than usual Orchid Fair – two day event at the Kibble Palace on 6 and 7 May, Bicentenary Day, 20 May – Free event for groups, families and children with Marquee and range of activities, The People’s Gardens, Dinosaurs in the Botanics, Chinese Lanterns and much more.
