Glasgow Green Free Fireworks Display Sunday 5th November, 2017

Glasgow’s biggest and best FREE fireworks display returns on Sunday 5th November 2017 to Glasgow Green!

Featuring special effects never seen before with new colours and 15,000 different effects.

Gates will open from 5pm Fireworks display starts 7.30pm.

Enter Glasgow Green from Saltmarket, Greendyke Street, Charlotte Street and the West Carriageway.

Traffic Closures

Greendykes Street, Charlotte Street, Binnie Place, Monteith Row and Monteith Place will be closed between 4pm and 9pm. Plus between 7.15 p.m. and 8.15 p.m.on Saltmarket, James Morrison Street, Turnbull Street, Bridgegate and Crown Street.

St Andrew’s Bridge and River Walkway closed from 4pm on Saturday until 8am on Sunday

Dress for the outdoors and pay attention to safety advice on the big screen – don’t bring pets, sparklers or alcohol.

Strathclyde Park and Firework Displaye in North and South Lanarkshire Free fireworks displays – 4 and 5 November, 2017

Strathclyde Park Firework Display Sunday 5th November, 2017

The spectacular annual fireworks display takes place at Strathclyde Country Park on Sunday 5 November, organised by North and South Lanarkshire Councils.

A bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm with the fireworks display starting at 7.30pm. From 4.30pm to 9.00pm there will a funfair provided by M&Ds Scotland’s Theme Park, with live music and entertainment from Clyde 1 on stage throughout the evening.

Another three events will be held at 7.30pm on Saturday 4 November in Coatbridge, Airdrie and Cumbernauld:

  • Dunbeth Park, Dunbeth, Coatbridge, ML5
  • Airdrie Leisure Centre, Motherwell St; ML6 7HU Airdrie, North Lanarkshire
  • St Maurice’s High School, Westfield, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, G68 9AG

Paisley Fireworks Spectacular, Town Centre, Saturday 4 November, 2017

Free – 80s themed activities and entertainment 2pm – 6pm

Firework display at 7pm

The skies above Paisley Abbey will be lit up by this spectacular display of fireworks following an afternoon of family fun!

This year’s events has an 80s theme and some classic tunes from the 80s will be your soundtrack to this year’s display.
