You are all cordially invited to to a multicultural celebration of the INDIAN festival of Lights- DIWALI , called DIWALI -FOREST OF LIGHTS.

C-Change and Scottish Indian Mahila Cultural Centre (SIMCC) supported by Forestry Commission Scotland invites you to the nature based celebration of Diwali in a beautiful Scottish woodland setting – Garscadden Wood at Peel Glen Road, Drumchapel G157XW.

There will be plenty of activities like Forest walk with Lantern light and head torches, Fire juggling , Puppet show, Rama and Sita Tales, Fire Crackers, Make your own decorative DIYAS (lamps), Traditional Dance performance, Woodland crafts, Drumming, Rangoli Demonstration, Snacks and sweets for guest
and much more…

So come and celebrate with us in one of Scotland’s beautiful woodlands with Forestry Commission Scotland , C-change and Scottish Indian Mahila Cultural Centre (SIMCC).

This event is open to the public and free of charge and would like to invite you and/or your organisation/group to attend the celebration in one of the Glasgow Commonwealth Woodlands for Commonwealth Games 2014.
