The Children’s Wood Hallowe’en Special

Performances from Tam Dean Burn, Emma Schad and Andy Alston.

For the first time the wood will be lit up and Children and families can enjoy the unique experience along with many other special activities. Actor, Tam Dean Burn will perform Julia Donaldson’s book Room on the Broom.

Children will get a sandwich and other treats courtesy of Tesco (who will donate most of the food) and The North Star Cafe (who will make up the dinner boxes.)

There will be Halloween activities for children. Parents from the German Kinderclub will be helping children to make bat, owl and ghost lanterns. These lanterns can be re-used on the 4th of November for the Lantern Parade at Glasgow University Chapel Park Ranger, Ian Lewis will be assisting children in making broomsticks. There will be halloween activity sheets for children to take home.

There will also be some great raffle prizes donated from Ae Fond Kiss, The Sentry Box and Barefoot Wigwam books. All of this and more.

The great news is that the event is FREE. We do hope that people will give a donation as this will help to cover the costs of lighting, and other resources which will make the evening a night to remember.
