What’s on: art

Glasgow has some amazing galleries including Kelvingrove, The Hunterian and GOMA plus many smaller galleries and a huge variety of art projects. It also attracts many visitors to arts festivals including the prestigious RGI Annual Exhibition, Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art and Glasgow Art Fair.

Allan Richardson is a well known Glasgow artist, who’s work has been exhibited widely throughout the city. A self-taught artist he has captured some of the city’s most iconic buildings and scenes, including Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the University of Glasgow, Ashton Lane and the Kibble Palace.

Allan has been chosen as one of the Best in the West on Pat’s Guide to Glasgow West End – he is available for private commissions .

He is both a talented artist and fascinating character, included in Alasdair Grey’s mural at Hillhead Underground.
