The Children’s Wood Nature Festival

Join us for our first West-End Festival community event of the year. We’re excited to be inviting Eco Drama back to perform their unique outdoor theatre production of The Worm an Underground Adventure, Tam Dean Burn will be reading Stick Man and there will be lots of nature based activities for children and adults to enjoy. This event is FREE and everyone is welcome. Bring a neighbour, there will be some chairs for people with mobility issues.

The Children’s Wood and the North Kelvin Meadow celebrate Nature on our Doorstep. A very special opportunity for schools. Textile artist, Liz Gaffney-Whaite, storyteller, Allison Galbraith and writer, Cathy Forde, will work with school classes to create a unique tactile artwork which expresses some of the daily wonders of our natural world.
