As part of the ‘Outer Shapes, Inner Spaces three week long Exhibition’, popular artist Eaglesham based Iain Gordon, will be in the Thistle Gallery demonstrating his technique, painting and chatting to customers about his inspiration and evocative paintings.
‘Sometimes it’s good just to paint freely with no restriction of colour, shape or form. Taking the time to stand back and look at the painting you realise that what is needed is a ‘mark’ made from a well seasoned brush to help bring the picture to life.’
Iain regularly exhibits at various galleries across the country as well as group exhibitions and large events including the Paisley Art Institute (PAI).
Do pop along to the Gallery on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 for a glass of wine and to watch Iain work his magic.
The Outer Shapes, Inner Spaces Exhibition features the work of seven other accomplished artists with a wide array of colour palettes, subject matter and mediums.
