Celtic Quines, 11th February

Scottish band featuring 3 of Scotland’s finest female voices around;
Katherine Macleod, Celine Donoghue and Eilidh Grant all have a strong
pedigree in the Scottish Scene and have taken their music across the
UK and beyond.

Dan McKinnon, 18th February

Dan hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia, in the Canadian Maritimes, an
area rich in the musical and cultural traditions of the North
Atlantic. His warm baritone voice, superb guitar arrangements and
original compositions have won him widespread praise. Dan’s thoughtful
compositions and smooth melodies cover the entire folk spectrum, with
themes traditional, historical, contemporary and universal.

Young’Uns, 25th February

With bags of charm, talent, and an abiding enthusiasm for traditional
song, The Young’uns are making a big impact on the UK folk scene. The
lads, Sean Cooney, David Eagle and Michael Hughes hail from Teesside,
and bring freshness and dynamism to their arrangements of close
harmony songs, both with and without accompaniment. Everything from
traditional sea and working songs to more recent compositions is
present in their repertoire, and is delivered with originality and
flair.
