Glasgow International is a world-renowned biennial festival of contemporary art. Glasgow International 2016 showcases the best of local and international art – appealing to a wide range of audiences. The ambitious programme will include exhibitions, events, talks, performances and projects by both international and Glasgow based artists. The festival will showcase Glasgow’s position as an important and unique centre for the production and display of contemporary visual art.

It aims to develop artistic discourse between local and international artists and audiences through talks, events, exhibitions and visits;

Three hundred and ninety eight artists will take part in the festival – See full list of participants.

Events will take place throughout the city in different venues including non-traditional locations.
