Bob Law: Blog – Make The Most of Autumn in Glasgow
We may be living through trying times at the moment but getting out in nature always helps, even if it’s just somewhere local. For me Glasgow’s public parks, in various locations, offer great views across the city.
Pollok Pavement
Many of the parks started out as grand estates often situated on hill tops. Some are popular and well known, others, like Pollok’s Househill Park, which runs along Barrhead Road past Crookston to the Hurlet, are only known to locals. These whilst less frequented are well worth a visit.
Some of them have car parks or it is usually possible to park unobtrusively in a side street nearby. Once the Coronavirus pandemic has passed you could take a bus or train.
