Baden Baden
25 – 27 October, 2016
Abandoning a miserable job on a foreign film shoot, 26 year-old Ana (Salomé Richard) spends a hot summer attempting to get her life together. But an ambitious DIY project to replace her grandmother’s bath with a walk-in shower gets derailed by ill-advised affairs with lovers old and new, not to mention her failure to return the hired Porsche she ‘borrowed’ from the film set. Rachel Lang’s feature debut heralds an exciting new voice in French language cinema. With its dry wit and eye for the surreal in the mundane, Baden Baden is a sparkling, joyful gem.
