Family Fun Day – St Patrick’s Day Festival Glasgow 2026
Saturday 14 March, 2026, 12 noon – 5 p.m.

The Family Fun Day returns for another instalment of great craic in Merchant Square !!!
The Festival in conjunction with Tourism Ireland presents a day of family celebration with music, song and dance.
With a host of restaurants and bars to cater for all tastes as you enjoy a great Glasgow Irish atmosphere with the best of live Irish music, songs and dancing from the likes of:
musicians from the famous St Rochs Ceilí & Marching bands, Paddy Gunning,
Champion Irish Dancers+ much more to be announced
+ face painting, balloon artist, stalls from Tourism Ireland (one of the event’s key sponsors) and their partners and more craic than you can shake a stick at!
A brilliant celebration of all things Irish in Glasgow!
The event was attended by over 8,000 people in 2025 and the Merchant Square is the perfect place for all the family to come along and enjoy the day under the safety of the enclosed roof.
Note: the Family Day starts just as the Festival Parade finishes.
