Welcome to Weegie Words 2014, a mini festival celebrating Glasgow writing in true Glasgow Games style!
In this opening round, refereed by Michael Malone, verbal athletics will fill the stadium as teams STILL GAME & HURRICANE BAWBAG race to determine which Glasgow stereotype will win on the international stage: sport or the weather?
On team STILL GAME we have Chris Brookmyre, Kate Tough & David Simons.
On team HURRICANE BAWBAG we have Nick Brooks, Jean Rafferty, Lesley McDowell & Graeme Macrae Burnet.
Come along and cheer on your favourite team, attendance is FREE. We look forward to seeing you there!
