CRER Black History Walking Tour – Black History Month October 2026
Sunday, 11 October, 2026, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
David Livingstone Memorial Statue, Castle St, Glasgow G4 0UZ
Taking participants on a historical journey through Glasgow’s mercantile past, exploring how today’s build environment reveals Glasgow’s connections to tobacco, sugar, slavery and the abolition movement. This year, tours will be led by CRER’s Lucien Staddon Foster, with fortnightly contributions from Amy Rich (Museums Galleries Edinburgh) and Nelson Cummins (Glasgow Museums).
