The festival exists 'to highlight diversity and offer interesting and multiple perspectives that others simply do not'

This year's centrepiece commission by Liz Lochhead, Scotland's Makar, celebrates the life and work of the late Edwin Morgan (1910-2010). Edwin Morgan's Dreams And Other Nightmares, co-produced with the Tron Theatre, is an exploration of his early life and passions.

Other highlights include: Grant Smeaton's Ch Ch Changes, a kaleidoscopic array of characters growing up through the sexually ambiguous 70's.
