Freeze don't chuck

I no longer have a car, so it's my nearest supermarket.
Whether you shop in Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, M & S or your nearest Co-op there are lots of ways to save money on your weekly shop!

The average home chucks away £420 of potentially edible food each year.
You can save that cash back by buying only what you need.
You can also do batch-cooking and freezing, following use-by dates and eating those leftovers.

Take advantage of customer service, that's what it's for, don't be shy..ask when food will be reduced. I've noticed M&S and Asda regularly reduce food prices before the sell by date. I've picked up a number of bargains in the meat section, sometimes saving more than half the price of chicken or steak or pre packed meals variety. And remember you can always freeze things!!
