‘Oh – My Beautiful You’ available 31st January 2020

I’m releasing a single. ๐ ‘Oh – My Beautiful You’
It’s a song I wrote for the Ten Writers Telling Lies project. Remarkably (to me) it’s my first ‘solo’ release since 2012. The release date is Friday 31st January.
Note: This is not an event in the offline world. It is a digital release of a single. In exchange for $0.99 of your hard earned cash you can buy it, download it, listen to it, love it and tell your friends about it. . ๐ I’ll get back to you with a link as soon as I have it.
‘Oh – My Beautiful You’ is a simple love song in waltz time. It has a spoken word intro by ‘Next Chapter’ award winning writer Samina Chaudhry, backing vocals by Jess D Vernon (of This Is The Kit & The Fantasy Orchestra), Banjo by Graham Mackintosh & drums by Lejoe Young.
Definately influences by American Folk music, but you may also detect a hotchpotch of influences from 1960s pop through Scottish folk, blues and film music.
Look out for a full album of songs to follow shortly after.
The artwork is by the incredibly talented Pam McDonald of Fine Line Ink Tattoo.
Thanks for your support. ๐
Keep well,
Jim
