Jim Byrne releases Christmas single: For We Are Born…
My Christmas single will be available as a download from Bandcamp and CDBaby from 10 December, 2014: it’s a rootsy/folk/pop based sound and features the backing vocals of the traditional folk singers The Linties (which I recorded in the 11th century Newbattle Abbey).
The song is a bit unusual (not Slade; it’s more contemplative than celebratory) but it’s got that ‘winter time’ feel and I think it’s a cracker. I’d hoped it would available from iTunes from very soon but unfortunately it seems to have taken a lot longer to be listed than I had anticipated; so it will be available on iTunes but those plans have gone a little awry.
It’s from my next album ‘Roots ’n’ Fruits’ that I’ll be releasing early next year. It’s great – you’ll like it. 🙂
Thanks,
Jim
