Aye Write 2019! Walking and Running Through Scotland

Gary Sutherland and Jonny Muir
31st Mar 2019 • 3:00PM – 4:00PM
Walking and Running Through Scotland
Mitchell Library, North Street, G3 7DN

Gary Sutherland could never fathom hillwalkers and had always managed to ignore the West Highland Way despite living on its doorstep. Then one day he decided to tackle the West Highland Way, Great Glen Way and Speyside Way. Walk This Way is a tale of courage, feral goats, calamitous quagmires and creepy pine cone messages.
Jonny Muir is a hill and fell runner whose book, The Mountains Are Calling, is the exhilarating story of the runners who go to high places. It explores the history and culture of the sport, and meets the legends of hill running who are revered for their endurance.
