Jeremy Corbyn in conversation with Josie Long. They’ll be talking about Jeremy’s latest book The Gaza Tribunal, the future of the left, and how we organise against the Far Right.
Saturday 8th August 11 .m.
Feast of Fools a storytelling show for ages 5 and up that takes us on a tour of the delicious and disgusting.
Saturday 8th August 12.30 p.m.
Rahul Rao will be talking about his book The Psychic Lives of Statues, assessing the rubble of empire just as the council try and re-erect the statues in George Square.
Saturday 8th August 2 p.m.
Frances Crawford will be reading from her hotly tipped debut novel A Bad Bad Place, a thrilling murder mystery set in 1970s Glasgow.
Saturday 8th August 4 p.m.
Three of Scotland’s leading poets, reading at the intersections of poetry, politics, and language. This stellar line up of Beth Frieden, Ruth Aylet and Hannah Lavery represents some of the best new poetry in Scotland
Thursday 13th August at The Glad Cafe
Finally a week later at the Glad Cafe, 1006A Pollokshaws Rd, Glasgow G41 2HG on Thursday 13th August rounding of the Festival with the launch of Equal Pay or We Walk Away, a new book by Gerry Mooney, Jimmy Main and Val Wright looking at the historic equal pay strike in our city.
