Scene and Heard “The Southside’s rich music history deserves to be shared!”

An informal session exploring the Southside’s vibrant music history. Help map the stories, places and people that shaped local scenes by sharing your memories and knowledge. Bring along photos, flyers, tickets, recordings or other memorabilia to help build a picture of the area’s musical past and ensure these stories are recorded and shared.

Especially keen to revisit lesser-known parts of the Southside’s music story, including the role Eglinton Toll’s Plaza Ballroom played in bringing hip hop culture to Glasgow in the 1980s, and Westmoreland Street’s Clada Club, known for its folk sessions and ceilidh sounds.
