‘The Book of Blaise was published in 2015. In 2016 it won several major awards. In 2017 it was made into a Hollywood film. I was played by octogenarian sex god Warren Beatty. Beautiful, menopausal poet Blaise was played by a nineteen-year-old actress with a giggle.’
But why wait for the film? The launch is on Friday 9 October, Waterstones, Blaise will be played by nineteen-year-old actress lookalike Magi Gibson. I’ll be playing myself. Warren Beatty will be played by trigintanarian sex god Alan Bissett.
