Milngavie Book & Arts Festival, now in its third year, is a community based festival located in the heart of Milngavie's pedestrian precinct.

It encompasses a range of exhibitions and events including books, art , crafts, walks, talks, drama and music. The Art Marquee hosts "Art in the Village" exhibition of local and contemporary art for sale and demonstrations by artists including Katharina Kubrick and Gordon Wilson.

Music will include Hans Theessink Master of the Blues Guitar with support from Jim Byrne americana, folk blues in the Fraser Centre at Milngavie Folk Club.
