Nominated for Best Picture at the 2023 Academy Awards, Sarah Polley’s riveting drama follows a group of Mennonite women reconciling an epidemic of abuse with their religious faith. Featuring an ensemble cast including Rooney Mara, Jessie Buckley, Ben Whishaw and Frances McDormand, Women Talking forms the centrepiece of GFT’s Cinemasters: Sarah Polley season presented with feminist collective Invisible Women, who will introduce the screening on Saturday 11 February at 5:30pm.
