Japan’s renowned animation house Studio Ghibli has been delighting audiences since 1985 with beautiful hand-drawn feature films. Following the enthusiastic response to our short season of Miyazaki films last summer, GFT is excited to bring a larger selection of the studio’s films to the big screen in 2016, to coincide with the release of When Marnie Was There, Ghibli’s new and reportedly final film. Immerse yourself in superlative animation and breathtaking storytelling this summer at GFT. All films will be in their original Japanese with English subtitles unless otherwise stated.
