Scotland Writers vs England Writers – AFTERPARTY Saturday 13 September
Scotland Writers vs England Writers – AFTERPARTY
Saturday , 13 September, 7 p.m.
The Poetry Club
100 Eastvale Place, G3 8 Glasgow, United Kingdom
Following up from what will undoubtedly be a classic football match at Glasgow Green that day, the England and Scotland Writers’ teams do battle in a different way. With something they’re actually good at.
We suggest a donation of £1 to cover the costs, but whatever you can manage. There’ll be readings from the likes of Doug Johnstone, Allan Wilson and Karyn Dougan and films from Doug King plus many more. We’ll be playing tunes and there’s a full bar to celebrate a glorious Scottish victory/commiserate a terrible Scottish defeat with.
