On The Adamant at GFT
Friday 3 – Saturday 11 November, 2023
Winner of the top prize at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival, On The Adamant is a documentary centred around a floating barge that doubles as a unique day-care centre. Located on the Seine in the heart of Paris, it welcomes adults suffering from mental disorders, offering the kind of care that grounds them in time and space and helps them to recover.
The film invites us to board it and meet the patients and caregivers who give this astonishing structure meaning.
