Local Food Social Support Hub Woodlands Garden

Saturday, January 11, 2014 – The Albany Centre

12:00pm until 3:00pm

Feeling Isolated? Worried about Winter Bills? Affected by Welfare Cuts? Want tips on how to cook on a budget?

Woodlands Community Garden’s local food social support hub provides a friendly welcome and access to a hot and healthy meal for people experiencing hardship as well as access to training/volunteering opportunities.

As this is a new initiative we are keen to hear from people, organisations or campaigns supporting those affected by welfare cuts, so come along to chat over how you could get involved.

We have some creche spaces available on the day too
(As creche spaces are limited get in touch if you wish to reserve a space, if not they will be allocated on the day on first come first served basis.) Please share this invite to other people or organisations you think may be interested.
