Woodlands Community Ant-Racist Library

The Anti-Racist Community library will open fortnightly on Sundays in Woodlands Community Meeting Room and Events Terrace, 66 Ashley Street, G3 6HW. Meeting January 26 at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The library has books for people of all ages – children, young people, adults. There are fiction and non-fiction books, serious and light-hearted but all center the lived experience of people of colour. A section of the library is dedicated to conversations linking anti-racism work with climate justice work.It has a Climate Justice Focus: Climate Justice is Migrant Justice.
This is a FREE library. There is no charge for borrowing books, though you will be required to sign up for membership. Each member can borrow up to 5 books based on the number of people in their household.
There is also an ongoing satellite programming surrounding the library. In addition to occasionally providing language exchange when they have capacity.
There will always be free vegan bakes.
This Anti-Racist library is curated by staff member Sapna Agarwal.
This Library will benefit the community for the days, months and years to come.
