The Glasgow European Open returns to the Emirates Arena on Saturday 4th October 2014. This year its the turn of our female judoka including Glasgow Commonwealth Games gold medalists Kimberley Renicks, Nekoda Davis, Megan Fletcher, Natalie Powell, and Sarah Adlington. Also competing will be London 2012 Olympians including, silver medalist Gemma Gibbons, Sally Conway, Kelly Edwards and Gemma Howell competing against some of the best female judoka Europe has to offer.
The event will boast an action packed day of competition beginning at 10am with all seven weight categories being completed in the evening session beginning at 5pm. There will be opportunities to train or give judo a try for the first time with sessions hosted by Commonwealth medalists. There will also be opportunities to meet your hero’s during signing sessions throughout the day.
