The heart of Govan comes alive this summer for the Elder Park Community Festival — a massive collaborative event brought to you by nearly 20 incredible local organisations and community groups working together to create a day to remember!

A full day of family fun, music, arts and green living, with something for everyone:
Live performances from talented local artists
DJs , Dancers and performers sets on a professional stage with video screens & sound
Kids’ zone with activities, games & creative workshops
Eco Zone – upcycling, climate-friendly tips, and sustainability stalls
Healthy food demos & nutrition advice – cook smart, eat well
Art installations, community crafts & hands-on workshops
Tasty street food and local traders
Community info stalls and support from amazing local groups
This event is powered by the people of Govan , with support from local schools, housing associations, youth projects, artists, libraries, social enterprises, community, gardens and more.
It’s a true grassroots celebration of what we can do when we work together.
