Richard Linklater‘s iconic coming-of-age classic returns to the big screen from Friday to mark its 30th Anniversary.
Matthew McConaughey stars in his breakout role as part of a group of Texas teens on their last day of school in 1976. Randall Floyd moves easily among stoners, jocks and geeks. He’s a star athlete, but also likes smoking weed, which presents a conundrum when his football coach demands he sign a ‘no drugs’ pledge.
