Crowdfunding Campaign Pop Up Community Cafe, Woodland Community Gardens
Pop Up Community Cafe, Woodland Community Gardens
Crowdfunding Campaign
You have until Friday 9th July to support Woodland Community Gardens vital community food work.
In the last 18 months we have served top quality dinners to 1745 people at our pop up cafe, had 719 participants take part in in cookery classes, supported 35 volunteers and facilitated 57 community information sessions. Our main source of funding for this work (Big Lottery) finished last week so we are reliant on smaller grants and community fundraising to enable our work to continue. Every little donation helps so please make a contribution if you can.
“The Cafe not only provides access to good, fresh, and healthy food, it also actively breaks down the stigma often associated with accessing food charity. Food here is shared and in that sharing we are all made to feel equal. “
During July and August our pop-up community cafe will be taking place at Windsor Hall, 1 Windsor Street, (off Maryhill Road), Glasgow, G20 7NA. Volunteers welcome from 4pm, cookery workshop from 5.30pm and food served from 6-7.30pm.
