Acoustic Routes
The acclaimed folk music film tribute to Bert Jansch.
Sunday 31 January (14.30)
Running time: 1h42m
This extended cut of Acoustic Routes features insights and exclusive live performances from Bert Jansch, Brownie McGhee, Davey Graham, Anne Briggs, Wizz Jones, Billy Connolly and other key players in the Scottish folk scene.
Anne Briggs has rarely been in the spotlight despite the acclaim for her pure singing style and songs of her early recordings. Following the screening we are privileged to have Anne in conversation with writer and broadcaster Pete Paphides recalling her time with Bert Jansch in the folk scene of 1960s.
