Special Event For Children
The first 100 lucky children to attend will be gifted Burns For Bairns books, compiled by Irving Miller.*
As part of our Arts For All, All Year Round philosophy, Òran Mór is hosting a special Burns For Bairns celebration.
The event will showcase Òran Mór’s new commission of 10 major paintings by Nichol Wheatley depicting Burns’ epic poem Tam O’Shanter.
It’s the National Bard’s 260th birthday this year and Òran Mór would like to encourage youngsters to join in the celebration.
They can enjoy an interactive performance and readings of Burns’ work and the first 100 lucky children to attend will be gifted Burns For Bairns books, compiled by Irving Miller.*
The artist Nichol Wheatley will be in attendance signing books and MarieClaire McGuinness will be performing excerpts from Tam O’Shanter
*100 Burns For Bairns books have been made available courtesy of Òran Mór and The Royalty Burns Club.
