Come and join the bookshop relaunch celebration after refurbishment and let Oxfam Bookshop Byres Road share the shop’s new look with you.
You can browse the bookshelves, have a drink and sample some Fairtrade food and listen to authors speaking about what bookshops mean to them including:
Karen Campbell, author of The Twilight Time, Shadowplay and most recently Rise.
Denise Mina, award winning crime writer of the Garnethill Trilogy and the Alex Morrow novels.
Alison Irvine, whose debut novel This Road Is Red was published by Luath Press
There may even be a few more surprises on the day!
