Morag the cow to star in the World's first 3D dining experience

Photo: morag. Monday - Thursday, 7th - 31st March

Morag, the highland cow, visited the Ubiquitous Chip in Ashton Lane, Glasgow on 3rd February to view herself in 3D.

Her 3D image will form the centrepiece of "Ingr3dients", the world's first 3D interactive sensory dining experience, which will take place in the Ubiquitous Chip in March 2011.

Combining the talents of foremost Scottish artist, and longtime friend of the Ubiquitous Chip, Alasdair Gray and digital artist Debs Norton, "Ingr3dients" will see diners interacting with a host of art installations and witnessing the exclusive unveiling of Alasdair Gray's first digital mural.

3D visual spectacles include appearances of 'Morag', who will be ambling in the middle of the courtyard and a seascape scene featuring leaping salmon.

Guests will go into the courtyard restaurant over an interactive seabed disturbing shell fish and other sea life as they enter. During the meal a flock of wood pigeons will fly overhead.

Normally a resident of Pollock Park where she is part of Glasgow City Council's pedigree fold of Highland cattle, Morag was chosen to appear in the event as she is an intrinsically Scottish emblem and reflects the couthy character of The Chip. This latest charming addition to The Chip team will appear at various times and places as guests enjoy a selection of dishes from the exclusive Ingr3dients menu.
