West End Festival, 2003
The 8th West End Festival will run from 13th - 29th June. It will offer a range of exciting and interesting events including "a full-blown production of Bizet's "Carmen" performed by Opera on a Shoestring. There will be a wonderful Opening Concert by the City of Glasgow Chorus and Orchestra "with the cream of RSAMD soloists" will take place in Glasgow University's Bute Hall and the ever popular Shakespeare in the Botanic Gardens will be performed by The Glasgow Repertory Company.
The Festival will include prominent authors and well known performers and will offer lots of community events.
