Tips for Girls
Glasgow Women’s Library
December 1, 2015@ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm | Free
Is it proper for a single girl to have dinner in a bachelor’s apartment without a chaperone? Why don’t boys make passes at girls who wear glasses? How can I get a fuller bust? Whether you want advice on relationships, family planning, public health, or hair and beauty; Glasgow Women’s Library’s archive is full of top tips for girls. Starting with a fun rummage in our archives, we’ll be exploring some of the helpful – and not so helpful – advice for women in our collection; as an introduction to an exciting project where, in partnership with Scottish Screen Archive, we’ll be looking at some of their archive films and putting together an exhibition.
This workshop is for women only and is free to attend and you can book below (you will be taken through the shopping cart but no charge will be made) or you can call 0141 550 2267.
