Scotland’s “National” Fiddle Orchestra promises a wonderful night of Scottish music and entertainment which will delight both loyal followers and newcomers alike!
The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra’s annual concert at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 15th September 2018 will be a memorable evening filled with irresistible toe-tappingly good jigs and reels, haunting slow airs, stirring pipe music, and beautiful songs.
Under the baton of Conductor Blair Parham, the orchestra is delighted to welcome back on stage the renowned mezzo-soprano Colette Ruddy and tenor Dennis Haggerty who regularly delight audiences all over the country with their wonderful singing and warm personalities.
Add to this the fine piping of the SFO’s own piper along with The Combined Pipe Bands of McLaren and Balfron Schools and you are certain to enjoy a wonderful evening’s entertainment!
Hosted by compère Robert Lovie, this eagerly anticipated event will appeal to Scottish music enthusiasts and visitors to Scotland alike and will be an absolutely unforgettable evening!
