Saturday Socials for LGBTI plus older people

Free Afternoon Sessions.
Saturday 12 November, 2022 – 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.
CCA, 350 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3JD
Hosted by Luminate and a fantastic team of artists continues.
This month’s session will be led by Lewis Hetherington and India Boxall and the theme is: Here’s One I Made Earlier
Come along for an afternoon of coffee, chat and getting crafty. For those who want to, you’ll be making cards – along any theme you want. Maybe you want to make a ‘Thanks For Being My Pal’ card? Or perhaps you want to send a message to remind someone they are fabulous even when they feel like they aren’t… Or a card to celebrate your chosen rainbow family. It’s up to you!
As always, you can join in however you want, you can roll your sleeves up and get stuck in, or just come along for the banter and the biscuits. It’s all allowed!
Saturday Socials are an opportunity to meet up, spend time with new and old friends, and share a relaxed and sociable afternoon of activities together. Each social is a mix of chat, music and creative activities to add to the enjoyment.
The Socials have been taking place monthly throughout 2022 with a changing programme, specially created for LGBTI+ older people.
Save the date: The final Saturday Social will be on December 17th. Bookings will open nearer that date.
