Rae McGreevy is planning to go to Malawi in September 2016, along with twenty other people from Knightswood School.
Malawi Leaders of Learning (MLOL) has been established to improve education in Glasgow and Malawi
It is a unique and innovative project and Scottish partnership that has been forged between the council’s education services and Malawi’s South West Education Division.
It’s a two-way charity and development scheme aimed at sharing good practice, resources and teaching expertise between the two countries and ultimately improve the quality of learning and teaching in a challenging environment.
MYLOL presents a once in a life time opportunity to go to Malawi to see and experience what school children’s lives are like in that country and to undertake voluntary work. This will include visiting schools and orphanages and helping with renewing and fixing parts of the school.
The Scottish pupils will also help Malawi children with their English and undertake activities including P.E. classes.
‘If you seek any further information please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thank you, Rae.’
