WestFest 2026 – returns for a fourth annual festival
Important Advice for Participants Regarding Event Inclusion in Brochure
WestFest are waiting on artwork and listings from a small handful of participants. They must receive them by close of play tomorrow, Wednesday 1 April or unfortunately, they won’t make it into the printed brochure.
Everything has to be sent to print on Thursday morning, so this really is non-negotiable at this stage. If you’re having any issues or need support please just get in touch with WestFest and they’ll do ttheir best to help.
All participants will soon receive a low-resolution draft of the brochure. When you get it, please take some time to locate your listing(s) and/or advert, check everything carefully, and get any amendments back to WestFest within 24 hours. Web listings can be updated at any point, but once the brochure goes to print that’s it — so please do check everything is correct and accurate.
Brochure and Website Launch – Saturday 18 April, 2026
Finally, the brochure and website will be officially launched on Saturday 18th April with a musical tour round the West End with Sambayabamba, BrassAye and Think Circus. Hope to see as many of you there as possible — more details to follow!
WestFest2026 is shaping up to be the most ambitious edition yet. Building on last year’s success which saw 151 events reach 110k attendees, in 2026 the aim is to have around 200 events across 60+ venues, including a programme of free community events across the West End.
This year there is a focus on deepening accessibility across the programme and building stronger partnerships with communities currently under-represented in cultural life.
Further expanding will be education and outreach, including a schools programme, youth & community workshops, and the ever popular free illustrated talks in partnership with Friends of Glasgow West & Kelvin Hall.
“Really hoping many of you will be part of it again this year.”
Here’s to a brilliant 2026!
