It’s a Wonderful Life GFT
18 – 24 December, 2025
The beloved Christmas classic is GFT’s bestselling film of all time and has become a treasured festive tradition for so many of you, so make sure you don’t miss out on seats for this year’s screenings.
Frank Capra’s 1946 Christmas classic follows the tribulations of smallltown everyman George Bailey (James Stewart), who, at the end of his luck and deep in debt, contemplates suicide one snowy, bleak Christmas Eve. Upon wishing that he’d never been born, guardian angel Clarence (Henry Travers) takes a trip from the heavens to persuade him otherwise. After a nightmarish journey through an alternative Bedford Falls, George realises the difference he has made to the people around him, learning lessons of love, loyalty, and the meaning of what it is to lead a wonderful life.
GFT 12 Rose Street, Glasgow, G3 6RB.
