Govanhill Community Market
On the 25th of September, Govanhill Community Market organised by local initiatives GAMIS and G42 Pop-Ups will take over the Batson Street Laboratory, next to the beloved Govanhill Picture House.
The event aims to strengthen bonds between Govanhill communities, help support local economy and activate underused parts of the neighbourhood. It will be a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours, learn about local community initiatives and how to get involved.
Alongside the market, there will be an exciting programme of free workshops, music performances and conversations celebrating the diverse communities of Govanhill!
The Harvest Fair edition of Govanhill Community Market as part of climate fringe at the Bat.Lab.! Activities will include a community market, free workshops, a bring and share community meal, an open mic with music and poetry from performers of Govanhill
AND a launch of the Govanhill Food Stories zine made with the stories and recipes received at the last market! Such an exciting collaboration with glasgow zine lib and editor Polly Rappaport.
7.30 P.M. – 9.30 p.m.
A film screening curated by @glasgowamis at the outdoor cinema.

Pridajte sa k nám na oslavy úrody Govanhill Community Market (Govanhill Susedský Trh) v priestoroch Bat.Lab.! Cez deň bude prístupný komunitný trh, bezplatný kurz o zháňaní potravy v prírode, tzv. Open Mic (“otvorený mikrofón”) pre hudobníkov, básnikov a rôznych umelcov z okolia Govanhill a viac.

Po trhu bude predstavenie filmu vo vonkajšom kine.
