Gorbals Fair returns on Saturday 1st June this year. This is the biggest event in the Gorbals calendar, so make sure you come along to join in the fun.
This year’s Fair theme is Scottish mythical creatures. Learn all about folklore and legends, from kelpies and redcaps to the Loch Ness Monster. Or take some dress-up inspiration from Scotland’s national animal, the unicorn!
Why not join in with the Parade through the area, which leaves from The Barn Community Centre at 10.45am. This is the best place to see all the weird and wonderful costumes this year, and everyone is welcome to take part in the walk to St Francis Centre.
If you would like more information about the Gorbals Fair, please contact Michael Fullerton on 0141 429 3900 or email michaelfullerton@newgorbalsha.org.uk
