Glasgow Science Festival 2025 – Starbound: Space in Songs and Science

Listen to the sound of space in this immersive out of this world experience. Listen live to Maaike Siegerist from the University of Glasgow perform her new EP Starbound, a series of space themed songs, accompanied by a keyboardist followed by a conversation with Dr Gilles Bailet, Lecturer in Space Technology at the University of Glasgow. Hear about sustainability in space, testing new technology at zero gravity and how space technologies benefit our lives.
This 45-minute experience is part of The Glasgow Science Festival: The Sound of Science an evening of activities, mini-talks and an exhibition to delve deep into the science of sound – this is a chance for the adults to play.
